Gangtok:A SESSION of the Sikkim ASSEMBLY scheduled for Thursday morning was canceled today as per a press release from SLA Secretariat . The Sikkim Assembly for August 9'2007 was to pass bill on re-demarcation of municipal councils as well as organisation of some new pachayaat areas for upcoming elections of local civic bodies before the end of year.
