Gangtok: The muhurat of 'AtmaShakti' was held yesterday at Hotel Tashi Delek,Gangtok.
The Video album 'Atma Shakti' have a collection of20 bhajans from various artists and is presented by the Diamond Club of Gangtok.
Gangtok area MLA NK Pradhan was the chief guest at the muhurat function while State Awardee Shree Kiran Rasaily was guest of honour.Area MLA Mr.Pradhan has stressed that local cable network should support local artists in order they are provided some sort of exposure. President of the Diamond Club Mr. Bishnu Pradhan informed that priority has been given to the local artists of sikkim and the Album provides an opportunity to the finalists of SWAR SIKKIM to showcase their talent.It was also informed that the shooting of the music videos of its songs would be done at local Mandirs,Gumpas and such religious sites such as Sai Dharma Kendra of Daramding,Rumtek Monastery, Hanuman Tok and other significant religious places. The album is being produced at estimated cost of Rs.2 lakhs.
Hira Rasaily from Darjeeling,Thupden Bhutia from Kalimpong, Ajnish Rai,Bimal Rai, Naresh Gurung,Uttam Gurung of Darjeeling are the vocalists in the album.
