ASGEA to submit 7 point demands to Sikkim CM




GANGTOK, October 26: The All Sikkim Government Employees Association (ASGEA) on behalf of all Grade C and D employees will submit their seven point demands to Chief Minister Pawan Chamling on October 27.
According to a press release issued today, the employees’ seven point demands include proportionate raise in pay scale for all grades of government employees, North East Special allowance @ 12.5 percent of pay and grade pay to all Regular, Ad-hoc and Work-charged government employees, all rate of allowance to be effective from September 2008 in place of April 2009, superannuation age of all employees to be 60 years and recommendation of Fourth Pay Commission to be made public. The demands also include recommendation of Fourth Pay Commission to be re-examined by “Committee of Ministers” or “Committee of MLAs” and leave encashment provision after every block of three years
