GANGTOK, October 26: 10 out of 25 dancing groups have been shortlisted for the semi final of the dance reality show Nachyo Babri during the quarter final round held at the SDF Bhawan here today. Organized by Swar Sikkim, the State Public Works Department Minister Ran Bahadur Subba today attended the competition as the chief guest.
The 10 winning teams shortlisted for the semi final round are Ekta Club, Kyongsa Club, Dancing Delight, Hamro Parivar, North Star, NSA Mangan, Nava Nirman, Bhaley Dhunga Club, Deep Flickers and Rudrakash. The semi final of the dance competition is slated for December 13.
Out of 170 groups who had participated in the audition and preliminary rounds of the competition, 25 groups performed in the quarter final round held today. Rapden Bhutia, the general secretary of Swar Sikkim said the winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakhs while Rs. 30, 000 and Rs 20,000 will be given to the first and second runners up respectively.
