GANGTOK, November 05: The Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party has said that this Himalayan State for long time has always prayed for the prosperity and peace of Darjeeling including other states of India.
According to a press release issued by the party, it states that Darjeeling has always been the hub for talents and culture and Sikkim’s interest in sharing cultural and emotional bond and intellectual opinions with the traditionalist and intellectuals of Darjeeling should not be misinterpreted by people.
The release further states that Sikkim and Darjeeling share similar culture, tradition and customs.
