NAMCHI, October 07: A case of suicide has been reported from Lower Kamrang, Namchi, South Sikkim.
According to reports, in the morning of October 4, at about 5 am, a 45 year old Arjun Rai of Lower Kamrang, was found missing from his home. At around 8 am, one Chandra Bahadur Rai of the same village found him hanging on a tree in the dry field.
The incident was reported to the police. Investigations revealed that the deceased Arjun Rai was mentally unfit.
The body was handed over to the legal guardian after autopsy. The case has been registered under section 174 CrPc and is under investigation.
