NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK CONCLUDES

Gangtok, September 8: The National Nutrition Week celebrations organised by the Community Food & Nutrition Extension Unit, Government of India concluded today. Programmes were held at Aganwadi Centers involving mothers, children at Sichey, Setipool, Lower Chandmari in East district. Debate, quiz and recipe competition was also held at Rongeyk Jr High School. Speakers stressed the importance of proper nutrition and the need to bring awareness among people. The theme of the week was "Nutrition Promotion for a stronger nation
