Gangtok: “Swar Sikkim”, open Nepali song lyrics writing competition being held at Gangtok, where thousands of candidates participated from Sikkim, Darjeeling, Dooars to Imphal. There are more than thousand of written lyrics received from all over India, June 25 was the last date to participate in this competition. Singer Dharma Bhushan Gazmer, Devraj Sharma, and Rakesh Somani, witnessed the received lyrics at office of S K Audio Vision, today, which will be selected best 8 – 10 songs lyrics out of total obtained.The rewards have been assigned as 25,000/-, 20,000/- and 15,000/- for First, Second and Third prize respectively. Minister D T Bhutia will hand over the awards to the winners.Padma Shree Sanu Lama, Dharma Bhushan Gazmer and Dewraj Sharma will be in the selection committee. All the received lyrics will be compiled in a book later.
