GANGTOK: The Sikkim Democratic Front party will be observing ‘Sampoorna Kranti Diwas’ in a befitting manner on June 22, for which a meeting of all the MLAs was held under the chairmanship of Minister UD&HD, DD Bhutia including senior SDF party members.
The General Secretary, Dawchoo Lepcha informed in a press release that the said day will be observed in all the Constituencies of the State. He directed the party members to respect the party flag along with other festoons, which is seen in a haphazard manner all around.
On other hand, the party Treasurer CB Karki, said the State Green Mission should be carried at par with commemoration of Sampoorna Kranti Diwas. Chairman DD Bhutia said Sampoorna Kranti Diwas carries a vital importance to the SDF party and all people of Sikkim. He also called for active participation from Panchayats and other party workers in marking the day in its true weightage.
