Geyzing : A meeting of the executive members of West District SDF Committee was held on april 16,2007 at Geyzing under the chairmanship of Tashiding MLA DN Thakarpa.
The meeting was attended by MLA cum West District President N.K.Subba, Vicepresident cum Daramdin MLA RB Subba,Tourism Minister cum Soreng MLA,RB Subba,Dentam MLA dipak Gurung,Rinchenpong MLA Dawchoo Lepcha and various party office bearers and discussions on up-coming Panchayat elections and role of party workers for party based elections .The meeting also decided to organise separate camps for youths & Chelis between 18-25 april party workshop.
Mangan : SDF Chelis Morcha convened two blocks level meeting here in Mnagan,north sikkim with the first one held atPakshyap on april 14 and second one at Rangrang on next day.The meeting were organised by North General secretary,chelis morcha Sumitra Subba,Publicity secretary Chumkee Saring and Secretary Panchayat cell K.Lepcha.
The meeting was on subject of creating awareness among SDP Party initiatives towards empowerment of women at grass root.
DIKCHU : A general meeting of SDF Labour Front was held at its office at Aap Dara,lower tintek,east sikkim and chaired by Branchpresident Ezekiel Lepcha which discussed various issuess at local level for smooth functioning of the Front.The meeting was attended by Brach Executive committee members including Vicepresdent Gautam Gurung,General secretary Durga Adhikari,Treasurer Naresh Chhetri and Samuel Chhetri among others.
