Namthang : ChiefMinister Dr. Pawan Chamling addressing the valedictory function of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Namthang Senior Secondary school here in south sikkim laid special emphasis on educational philosophy as being immensely crucial for a teacher to be able to impart real knowledge and education to students.
The CM further informed gathering of the eastblishment of the Sikkim University as Central University in state in near future,along with other technological institutions to enhance the education and career prospectives of students in sikkim.He urged teachers and students alike to take steps in engaging on building human resources within Sikkim starting from school students and also to undergo skill enhancement trainning programmes which are underway in state to better equip themselves.
Addressing the demands placed forth by area MLA A.S.Bareily,Dr. Chamling assured the people of a BDO Office in the constituency,construction of Hanuman temple at Naghill, the development of trek route from Turung to Nagi,Water supply project for Namthang area, construction of new school building for Ruchung Lower primary school,Katyang LPS and Kabrey Primary School.
On occassion, The school principal NN Sharma presented annual school report.
