NAMCHI, April 22: A meting was held on 21 April under the chairmanship of Zilla Panchayat member, Tara Bahadur Pradhan at Maniram.
The meeting decided the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Maniram Junior High School, while the staff and the representatives from the school were also present in the meeting in which the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee was also formed.
The committee comprises of Tara Bahadur Pradhan, Himal Tamang, Topda Bhutia, Sunita Tamang and DB Tamang, while other sub committee has also been formed for the same. The celebration which would be held in the month of October would take place for two days.
The meeting was also attended by Panchayat members CB Subba and Ramesh Rai, the next meeting would be held on 28 April, to further discuss on the same topic. The members present in the meeting decided to observe the celebration in a grand manner.
