SSA SOUTH CALLS FOR SECURITY & BENEFITS ANALYSING SINCERITY
New Executive Committee for SSA South chartered
NAMCHI, April 22: Annual General Meeting of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, South district was held on 21 April at the conference hall of Hotel Samdruptse, Namchi with the agendas of job security, GPF deduction, loan facilities, scale benefits for school mother’s and monastic teachers.
A new executive body was also chartered on the same day taking in the President as TN Sharma (CRC, Melli), Vice-President as Diki Palum Bhutia (CRC Bermiok Tokal), General Secretary Bipal Rai (CPC Namchi), Treasurers Sangay D Bhutia and Lucy Rai, others included two posts for Joint Secretary, two for advisors, five posts for executive members, four for auditing groups, along with all the SSA employees of South district.
The meeting was conducted by the former General Secretary of the association wherein the transparent presentation was made among the employees regarding the annual report which reflected the annual achievement made by the SSA with the last one year and also regarding the fund utilisation.
According to a release issued by the new executive body, the SSA employees are dedicated towards their responsibilities in every field and they will prove themselves in bringing in quality education as envisioned by the state government. It also mentioned that inspite of their job insecurity they are giving the best with the hope that the government and the department will provide true and wise judgment in favour of SSA employees.
The release informs of their approaches before the Joint Director to Human Resource Development Department (HRDD), South to get his valuable suggestion and for which the latter assured them that the competency of SSA employees will be counted in the near future.
Further the release adds SSA employees of South district are in favour for the separate Directorate of capacity building and exposure (tour) under HRDD announced during the budget session 2007, following which the HRDD will be highly privileged in making the human resource a developed one.
