Mangan: Following the arrest of of one Michael Rai by the Rangpo Police in connection with BSNL telephone cable theft racket when he was caught in possession of 100 kg of Copper extracted from cables stolen in Mangan;The Mangan Police along with Phodong Police have made 6 more arrests.
In a raid conducted jointly by both in north district, Six more persons were arrested on suspicion of stealing Telephone Cables in the area. The arrested suspects are : Sanjay Pradhan, Sandeep Pradhan, Lalit Gurung, Kiren Thakuri, Nandan Subba and Royal Gurung.
