GANGTOK, September 1: The State Tourism Minister Bhim Prasad Dhungel handed over the award of ‘Best State of Adventure Tourism’ for the year 2009’ to the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Pawan Chamling at his official residence Mintokgang, here today.
This award was on August 28 received by Mr. Dhungel from the hands of the Governor of Orissa Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare at a function organized by Safari India magazine, held in the Banquet Hall of Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, said an IPR press release.
Zilla Adhakshya, East, Bimal Dabari, and State Tourism Secretary SBS Bhadhauria were also present on the occasion.
