After a week of little rain, Sikkim especially is witnessing incessaent rain again with the met office predicting a cool and very wet weekend for the entire state.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), most of Sikkim have received moderate to heavy rainfall since Friday morning.
'The entire Sikkim will see a wet weather Sunday. The monsoon is turning active and most of the states will experience cloudy skies and rain with thundershowers,' said an IMD official

Meanwhile, IMD predicted fairly widespread rainfall activity over the western Himalayan region, northern plains, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal and Sikkim from Saturday to Monday.
