Gangtok: A constable with the Sikkim Armed Police is reported to have killed himself at the Pangthang SAP Camp.The 35 years old constable is reported to have committed suicide by inflicting knief wounds on himself by stabbing in the stomach and also attempting to slit his throat.The incident took place on July07,2007.
The victim was immediately rushed to the STNM hospital where he has succumbed to his self inflicted injuries.
The constable,it is, reported was not in good mental health and has been sick for quite sometime.
