Gangtok,Nov19 : 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals were won recently by the players of Sikkim State Taekwondo Association from 29th Junior National Taekwondo Championship at Harayana. A 14-member team won the six medals. Sabina Sundas won gold in below 42 weight categories. Silver medalists are Phurba Sherpa, Suman Tamang and Parmashwar Burathoki and bronze medalist are Sushil Lepcha and Bhuwan Prashed Limbu.
Executive members of the Association congratulated the medalists on Tuesday at conference hall of Paljor Stadium. Mr. Sanjay Sewakoti, Vice President of Association, Mr. Narindra Rai, Executive member, Trilock Subba chief coach and Dawa Tamang, Assistant coach and other members attended the programme
