Nepal Club leaves for Sikkim Football Tournament


KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Nabil Three Star Club (NTSC), the title holders is leaving for Sikkim, India on Sunday to participate in the 31st Governors´ Gold Cup Football Tournament.

On the way to Sikkim, NTSC will play a friendly football match with Jhapa-11 in Kakarbhitta to be organized by the Jhapa District Football Association in a bid to establish players´ welfare fund. NTSC is scheduled to play its first match-quarterfinals on Sept 17.

CG foods has provided sports material worth Rs 100,000 for this tour. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Ganesh Thapa bade a farewell to the team captained by Surendra Tamang.

Upendra Man Singh is the and Bal Gopal Maharjan are the coaches and Krishna Bahadur Shrestha is the manager of the team. Meanwhile, Nabil Bank has extended contract with the Three Star Club for one more year.
