Jorethang,Sep14: The Center for Computer & Communication Technology (CCCT) at chisopani celebrated its annual day in grand manner yesterday with Sikkim HRD&IT Minister N.K.Pradhan present as the Chief guest.
Congratulating CCCT on thesuccessful completion of another year,The minister conveyed the best wishes for the coming years as well.
With the SMIT fracas still fresh in everyone's minds and perhaps recognising that CCCT has a healthy mix of local and non-local students. The education minister remarked that all students studying in Sikkim were one family, living and learning under one roof.He stressed that students should remember that their main focus for now should be education and learning. He also reminded them that their responsibilities towards building a strong nation and society .
The CCCT Principal RGK Nair presented the annual report of the institution and included a set of demands for their consideration of the Minister and State government ,prime among which was the demand for proper playground at the Campus.
On the occassion,CCCT students also presented a colourful cultural programme which included a tribute to Pop star Michael Jackson. The programme also included release of magazine and awards ceremony in celebrations of the institute's leading students.
