GANGTOK, August 13: The Sikkim Chemists Association today called on the State Health Minister DN Takarpa and assured full support to combat the ongoing panic of Swine Flu in the State.
Led by its president Ramesh Kumar Periwal, the association presented the details of various activities of the association and also assured the minister to provide best possible medical help to the people of the State in normal times and as well as in case of outcome of such pandemics.
This was the association’s first meeting with the concerned Minister after assuming the office.
Earlier, Mr. Takarpa appraised the members on the various Health related projects being taken up by the Govt. for providing best health services to the people of Sikkim, adds a press release of the association.
