Gangtok, October7: A group of Eminent Nepali writers from Sikkim and surrounding Darjeeling hills spent a day discussing 'the Nepali language in present times' in a literary meet event held at Sikkim Government College premises .The Nepali Writers meet was organised jointly by Sikkim Government College and Sikkim Academy.
A galaxy of prominent literary 
figures and eminent writers took part in the discussions and joined to broaden talks on topic of Nepali language .The Meet was chaired by the first vice-chancellor of Sikkim Central University Dr.Mahendra P. Lama who called upon the Nepali writers to reflect modern and temporary times and situations in their creative writing and Shri Mahananda Poudyal graced the occasion as Chief Guest .
