VOICED ON MORE REPRESENTATIONS IN LOK SABHA

Gangtok, September 5: Lok Sabha, M.P. Nakul Das Rai has raised voice in policy matter on 30th August' 2007 in the Parliament. He requested to Central Government to understand the ground-realities in the hill state of India while framing the policies. 'The existing approach of the Union Government is entirely not benefiting the hill states. These states are sparsely populated and as a result per capita development cost is more', he said. He appealed to the Union Government to make special policies which directly benefit the population in the hill states.More representatives from the states in the Lok Sabha will ensure complete development of the State. He voiced on more representations in Lok Sabha from the hill states to strengthen the democracy and federal character and ensure development process.
