Gangtok, Sep05: The Sikkim Bhutia Lepcha Apex Committee (SIBLAC) has in a letter to State Election Commission has sought extension of BL seat reservations at the level of Panchayat in similar fashion as granted to BL community in Assembly level.
Terming the fulfillment of demand before the scheduled Panchayat elections in state as important and necessary to safeguard interests of BL community in state ,SIBLAC convenor Tseten Tashi Bhutia stated the same in letter issued to Election Commissioner.
