Gangtok September 9: Padchinha, a collection of Nepali poetry written by Ms. Sudha M. Rai was released here at Press Club of Sikkim on September 8.Shri Sanu Lama, the renown litterateur was the Chief Guest while Sahitya Academy winner and former MP Bhim Dahal was the guest of honour. Dr. Shanti Chhetri, a prominent Nepali litterateur presided over the function. The other prominent figures present on the occasion were Shri Rudra Poudyel, Dr. Rajendra Bhandari, Shri Subash Deepak, Pravin Jumeli Rai, Ms. Beenashri Kharel and others.
Shri Bhim Dahal briefly highlighted the various aspects of the poems of Poetess Sudha M. Rai and praised her composing. Dr. Shanti Chhetri too lauded the works of poetess. Shri Sanu Lama, the Chief Gust of the occasion expressed about the role of women writers in the development of society and he urged to rise above from gender bias.
