Namchi,Sept14: The business man Ananta Rai of Namchi has condemned a news item carries in a national Nepali daily . Ananta Rai has further claimed that he had been misquoted on Rs.1 crore donation towards kitty for Prashant Tamang Vote campaign.
In press release to local media, he has clarified that it was Prashant Tamang's fans from Namchi and surrounding areas who had announced a target of SMS votes for Prashant Tamang to the tune of Rupees one crore to help the idol finalist win the final gala rounds .
He further mentioned that it was impossible for one person alone to be able to pool a huge amount of money in such manner.It would be an initiative and efforts of all people of Namchi to see that hill idol gets votes to the value of Rupees 1 crore in total from area.
