Sikkim CM demands more facilities


GANGTOK, Aug 27: Sikkim has reasserted its demands for better transport links via airways and railways as well as for infrastructure development. The state Chief Minister, Mr Pawan Chamling, placed these demands before the Vice President, Mohammad Hamid Ansari. He also emphasized onstate’s potential for tourism.The Vice President showed a keen interest in the State. Mr Chamling added: “We have also invited Vice President to visit Sikkim and he has accepted the invitation”. The Minister for Commerce & Industry, and an MP had accompanied the Chief Minister.
