Director, SMIT invites application form from Indian Nationals for the following temporary post, co-terminus with the project, on contract basis. The appointees will be posted at SMIT and time to time, they have to move to DRDO, Hyderabad depending upon the work requirements.
Scientist ‘D’ (1 post):
Scale of pay: Rs. 15800-465- plus allowance as applicable under university rules.
Essential Qualifications: First class M.Tech (Electronics & Communication) / M.Sc (Electronics) or Equivalent degree in Communication / Radar Remote Sensing specialization with 5 year of experience in Research /Teaching/ Industry. Knowledge of computer programming in C/MATLAB, Ph.D in communication / Remote sensing with first class at Batchelor’s or Master’s degree and publication in the related field will be preferred.
Scientist ‘C’ (1 post):
Scale of Pay: Rs. 13000-360- plus allowance as applicable under university rules.
Essential Qualifications: First-class in M.Tech(Electronics & Communication ) / M.Sc (Electronics) or Equivalent degree in communication. Knowledge of computer programming in C/MATLAB with 3 years of experience in Research /Teaching/ Industry and publication in the related field will be preferred.
Scientist ‘B’ (3 post):
Scale of Pay: Rs. 10200-300- plus allowance as applicable under university rules
Essential qualifications: B.Tech (Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer) with first class degree and M.Sc (Electronics) or Equivalent with a first class degree. Knowledge of Computer Programming in C/MATLAB and publication in related field will be preferred.
Technical Assistant ( 2 posts):
Scale of Pay: Rs. 5080-140-
Essential Qualifications:First class Diploma (electronics) / B.Sc (Ecectronics) / Vocational or Equivalent degree. Experience in repairs of Computer & Electronics Equipments & basic knowledge of programming will be preferred
