Tadong, 17 June: The unemployed youths of Daragaon today formed a new social organization Daragaon Youth Association in a meeting presided by Prashant Lamichaney at Tadong. The house formed eleven-committee executive body wherein Milan Gautam is the General Secretary of the organization. The house also passed the resolution to drive a cleanliness and anti-drug campaign shortly this month. Besides the organization has stored a programme to help the needy financially and medical aid to the poor patients of Manipal Hospital. The organization has also taken the resolution that the fund would be collected by one per cent from the amount of contract works done by the members of the organization. "We being the youths of this village also have some sort of responsibility towards it, besides we are educated, we should know our village well." Said Bikash Gautam, an active member of the organization. At least 60 local youths had participated the meeting." After completing some formal correspondence with the respectable offices the organization office is to be set up," said Gautam.
