GANGTOK: As Sikkim was about to lay in slumber, the third earthquake hit Gangtok and parts of Sikkim at 11.12 pm last night replicating alarm among the masses who felt it.
After Friday and Sunday again in the last hour of Wednesday. Frequent earthquakes came repeating lately rising apprehensions among the masses.Instances of damage or panic were not reported from any part of the state. The earthquake that hit tonight was reported to be of moderate magnitude,3.5 on the Richter scale of which was confirmed byAmerican Earthquake Monitoring authority 'United States Geological Survey (USGS) ' as per details below:
