Gangtok:Ramdas Pai, head of Manipal Group along withVice Chancellor SMU-Dr.Jay Kumar,DeanSMIMIS Dr.P.G.Shivananda, CEO (MEMG),CEO(IDFC)- Luis Miranda,Registrar-CRH, & students of SMIMS today in a function held at the Mintogang , official residence of Chief Minister of Sikkim felicitated Dr.Pawan Chamling for his contribution in the recognisation granted by the Medical Councial of India to SMIMS , which is a Constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences (SMU).
Manipal Group also shown their interest in setting many more educational institues in different fields in sikkim such as AirHostages Traniining Institute & Hotel Management etc. Chief Minister assured all his help in anything that contributes to development of sikkim and provides a platform to local students in their further studies and he also welcomed any proposal that involves setting up of modern Shopping Mall, five star hotel, Golf Course in State as it would enhance tourism prospectus of state even further.
