GANGTOK, May 22: The Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee in a meeting chaired by its party President Nar Bahadur Bhandari on 19 May at its party head office at Jiwan Theeng Marg, Development Area, Gangtok introduced 10 members of Sikkim Democratic Front party into the SPCC.
The inducted members who belong to Soreng constituency in West Sikkim expressed their disillusionment with the Sikkim Democratic Front party and the dictatorial rule of its President. According to the SPCC, the ten inducted members reposed their full faith in Nar Bahadur Bhandari as the only leader who can lead Sikkim to ultimate peace and development.
The Congress President NB Bhandari offered them scarves and called upon them to join hands with the rest of Congressmen in serving the people of Sikkim with utmost dedication
