SDF WORKSHOP ON DEVELOPMENT UNDERTAKINGS

GANGTOK, April 24: Acting upon the vision of the Chief Minister towards all round development of the state, the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) party embraced ‘State Introspective Workshop’ for the four districts of the state.
The State Introspective Workshop in Gangtok was embraced today with an extra focus on poverty alleviation, youth empowerment by way of various skill development courses, promotion of tourism to the crest and similar other development schemes initiated by the SDF.
Starting today here at lower Martram Bering Bunglow, Gangtok, the State Introspective Workshop is likely to conclude on 28 April. The five day practicum has enrolled 100 participants including 50 males and 50 females.

The chief guest for the day was DB Thapa, President to East District, Malika Rai, Zilla Panchayat cum General Secretary to Panchayat Cell, Damber Dahal Youth Convener, Gyalsten Bhutia, CEC and other fraternity members of SDF.
During the course of workshop, the resource persons Bhim Dungel (MLA, Rhenock) and Ms Manita Pradhan spoke on the importance of such workshops, explained technicalities involved in such introspective schemes and beneficial sustainability through such workshops.
“Initiating such viable workshops will definitely groom the youths of Sikkim to better living and self reliance”, said Ms Malika Rai.
