GANGTOK, November 15: The students, parents and faculty of Bahai School, Tadong celebrated Children’s Day with much fun and extra-curricular activities at the school premises.
The celebrations include ‘annual craft exhibition 2009’ where the students displayed their creativity in crafts of various shapes and sizes along with science projects. There were 14 stalls for the exhibit which showed various handicrafts made by the students under the guidance of their teachers. The crafts included foot-mat made from materials like coconut rope, maize cover, dry flower frames and file covers.
State Urban Development minister DB Thapa visited the school on the occasion where he urged upon the students to study hard and maintain a competitive streak
