Namchi,August24: A day-long meeting of SDF was held Monday at the party office at Namthang which was chaired by former HRDD minister G.M Gurung. Area MLA and minister for Building and Housing Tilu Gurung was chief guest and others who attended the meeting included R.N. Rai, SDF General Secretary for South District, B.B. Tamang, in-charge labor front, Central Executive members, Panchayats and party workers.
The meeting discussed reorganization of the party workers and it was decided that from 25th to 29th August the lists of workers have to compiled in the party office and thereafter further activities will be carried out.
In the meeting Area MLA Mrs. Gurung announced that an amount of Rs.1 crore has been sanctioned for beautification of Namthang bazaar. She urged the party workers to remain united and abide by the ideology of Chief Minister and SDF president Dr. Pawan Chamling for a “holistic development” of the society.
