Janmastami festival at Sri Krishna Pranami Mandir,South Sikkim


Singtam,August12: A month long Janmastami festival is being celebrated here at Tokal–Bermiok Sri Krishna Pranami Mandir, Mangal Dham premises, Namphing south Sikkim. The celebration began from 12th July and will be concluded on 14th August. “Bithak Khata” in day time is followed by bhajans and hymns every evening.
Shri Mohan Priyacharya (108) from Kalimpong has blessed the celebration. Area MLA Mr. B.S. Pant, among others, has been visiting the celebration venue from time to time. Sri Krishna Pranami Mandir, Namphing, is being constructed under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Pawan Chamling since he visited and took part in a day long Bal Shivir organized last December. He promised to the temple committee to make it the biggest temple for Nijananda Pranamis of Sikkim.
