SASA to hold 6th State Swimming Meet & 3rd Himalayan Aquatic Championships
GANGTOK, August 28: The Sikkim Amateur Swimming Association (SASA) will be organising the 6th Sikkim State Swimming meet on September 6 and the 3rd Himalayan Aquatic Championships on September 12 and 13, 2009 at the TNA swimming pool.
This was decided during a general body meeting of SASA held on August 16.
“The State meet would serve as the time trial for the swimmers representing SASA in the regional event of the Himalayan Aquatic Championships where we are having teams like the North Point School and Mt. Hermon School from Darjeeling and St. Augustine’s School and Dr. Graham’s Homes from Kalimpong and TNA,” MK Subba, SASA general secretary said in a recently issued press release.
