Gangtok: Although most of the Lepchas are staying away from the Tendong Lho Rum Faat celebrationsbeing held at Sikkim Government College auditorium today,they will ,however, observing the festival at BL House in Tibet Road in view of ongoing indefinite hungerstrike against hydel projects in Dzongu.
A female Lepcha priestknown as Mun from Dzongu will be perorming the thanksgiving prayers in honour of the Mount Tendong and also to the Itbumoo,the Mother Creator.
The prayers are slated to start at 11AM.
