Gangtok : The ChiefMinister Dr.Pawan Chamling always believed in actions and This was once again proved when this morning he undertook a visit to Chintan Bhawan along with political advisor B.B. Gooroong and other senior SDF members for choosing an appropriate spot for the installation of the statue in memory of Sikkim's first Chief Minister late L.D.Kazi who expired on July28,2007.
The bronze state of father of democracy would be installed by Building & Housing department but as his personal homage to Kazi Sahib, Dr.Chamling has announced that he would personally bear the expenses which will go into the making of the standing bronze statue which perhaps might weighs a tonne after sculpting.
EFFORTS ARE being made to install the statue of first ChiefMinister of Sikkim on or before his next anniversary.
