Army chopper goes missing in North Sikkim

North Sikkim, : An Indian Army helicopter ALS Dhurva went missing shortly after take-off in North Sikkim  near China border on Thursday morning around 11.30 with four people, including two pilots, on board.
A defence spokesperson said the four-seater helicopter took off from the army’s North district base in Sikkim, .“There were four people on board, two pilots and two army personnel. We do not have much details but the helicopter was on a training sortie,” army spokesperson said.

An army officer said: “All we can say at this point in time is that the helicopter has lost contact and we have since begun an aerial search, besides people on the ground have also been pressed into .
