Gangtok,October29 : A Three day Mini Olympic Meet organized by Tashi Namgyal Academy started today from 29th October at its school ground. The meet will be ended on 31th October. Smt.Nalini Gupta,Secretary Excise abkari department,as the chief guest of the day inaugurated the programme with hoisting the olympics flag. In her address, She wished the event all the success and congratulated all the participants.
She also handed over first set of prizes to event winners before departing from school.
On the day track events were organized for the students .The game mascot Fairy Queen Zoya Chettri of standard IV gave her message of peace and healthy environment before chief guest unfurled flag and declared Mini Olympics open. Colourful Umbrella drill and gymnastic dance of girls were highlight of opening ceremony.
