Gangtok,October21: Denzong Boys a local football club is selected for ONGC Cup Football tournament by Sikkim Football Association (SFA). From 26th October to 7th November the tournament will be held at Agartala, said club members on Friday in a press meet at a local hotel. Sikkim team will leave on October 26 to play on October 29, it is informed.
Chong Jigmee Bhutia, General Secretary of the club said, ONGC I-League is a prestigious football tournament. Local players have been given an opportunity seeing their performance in Governor Gold Cup this year. The most promising players of this team are K.C Dadul (Captain), Pradeep Gurung, Chong Bhutia, Deepan Gurung and Rohit Answari , he said.
The team will be accompanied by President, General Secretary and Chief Coach Thupden Rapgyal Bhutia
