Chief Minister Chamling attended as Chief guest in a fuction orgainised to mark Teacher's day at indoor gymnasium of Palzor stadium,Gangtok by Education department,govt. of sikkim.The function was attended by large number of teachers from all corners of State and CM also honoured selected teachers on the occassion.
Conveying the message, CM Chamling said teachers play pivotal role in moulding the character of students who will ultimately shape the destiny of the nation. Teachers should also make earnest and sustained efforts to nurture their respective institution into a sacred temple of excellence of learning and also make the nation building as a central agenda of educational activities, it added.
