Gangtok,Sep19 : 21st Sikkim State Badminton Championship 2009 will be organized Badminton Association of Sikkim (BAS) from 8 to 11 October at Indoor Gymnasium Hall of Paljor Stadium. The Association will select players according to their performance in the state championship to represent Sikkim for the upcoming junior and sub junior national badminton championship.
Following its recent meeting, the association has called upon all badminton players to participate in the forthcoming championship. All the four district sports associations are to select players in order of rankings and submit the list to BAS. No player shall be permitted to participate without the due recommendation of the district association, informed in a press release by Mr. P. Rapden, General Secretary of BAS.
