Gangtok,Sep25: Press Club of Sikkim felicitated Shiv Thapa,16 year old young and energetic boxer from Assam. Thapa already earned national and international fame when he won Gold medal in sub-junior and Junior level in most of the important even. He drew the attention of the people in his home when he won Gold medal in Russia.
Former Minister and President of NGO Sikkim Citizen forum Thukchuk Lachungpa presented a cheque to international junior boxer Shiv Thapa as a financial help for the training in London.
While speaking to the media persons here, Thapa said that he want to undergo for training in London keeping in view the forthcoming Olympic Game being held in U.K. in 2012.
