Gangtok ,August7: Strengthening the journalism in the Himalayan State of Sikkim Online News Portal Association was formed here in Sikkim toady. It was felt that online news portals will definitely place Sikkim in world map to boost the state affairs, culture, traditions and tourism as well as current happening in the state.The association has formed an adhoc committee headed by Bijay Bantawa of Himgiri, Kishore Moktan and Subash Deepak are Vice President, Amit Patro was selected as Working President, Dependra Dewan as Technology Secretary, B P Bajgain as Secretary and D B Rai as News editor.
It is informed that four new online portals will formally inaugurate on August 20, in a function by Information and Public relation minister Niru Sewa.
