Sukna team enter semi final; Nigerian players to dominate today’s match
RANGPO, August 10: The third quarter final match of 5th MLA Challenge Cup Football Tournament organized at Rangpo Bazaar playground was played between Games & Sports Association Sukna and Singtam Motor Transport Association here today.
Both the teams scored a goal each in full 90 minutes game. However, the team from Sukna managed to score two goals in overtime and won the match by 3-1. With this victory, team Sukna has entered into semi-final.
Tomorrow the last quarter final will be played between Saipatri Club, Singtam vs Black Panthar, Kolkata. Tomorrow’s match is likely to be dominated by the Nigerian players as the team Black Panther mostly comprises of Nigerian players.
