Gangtok (PTI): Justice A P Subba on Saturday took oath as the judge of the Sikkim High Court here.
Governor Sudarshan Agrawal administered the oath of office to Justice Subba at a simple ceremony held at the Raj Bhawan in the afternoon.
Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling, his ministerial colleagues, the Sikkim High Court Chief Justice A N Ray and other senior civil and police officials were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
With the swearing-in of Justice Subba, the strength of the Sikkim High Court bench has gone up to two as against the full strengh of three, official sources said.
