Sikkim Chief Minister Dr. Chamling Congratulates Nirmal Dahal ,Special Olympics Gold Winner

NIRMAL DAHAL SECURE 1st POSITION IN SOFTBALL THROW
Gangtok, 11 October: Nirmal Chandra Dahal, son of Kuber Chandra Dahal bagged a gold medal in soft ball throw in the special Olympics world summer games 2007 held at Shanghai, China on October 9. Nirmal scored an average of 12.45 metre in the Softball Throw discipline today to claim the top position in event.He secured 5th position iAT 50M Run.

The Spastics Society of Sikkim is ecstatic over his Special Olympics win and have planned a grand welcome for him at Rangpo on October 14.
Upon hearing the news of Nirmal Chandra Dahal bagging a gold medal at the Shanghai special Olympics2007 ,Chief Minister Dr. Pawan Chamling has congratulated to Nirmal for winning the Gold medal and appreciated the exemplary courage and the spirit of sportsmanship performed by him. He added that his success will be a great source of inspiration to the youth and other sports persons not only from Sikkim but entire Nation too and also wished him best of luck for 100 metre finals that he is scheduled to participate in today on Thursday.
