The State Election Commission has ordered for revision of electoral rolls for conduct of general elections to Gram Panchayat / Zilla Panchayat - 2007 in the state of Sikkim. The revision of electoral rolls was started from the month of August, 2007. Designated officers were appointed in all polling stations for segregation of assembly electoral rolls into Panchayat ward wise electoral rolls. The work has been completed and the final electoral roll published on 6th September, 2007. Any interested person willing to obtain the copy of electoral rolls may contact the office of the State Election Commission, Amdo Golai, Gangtok and the concerned District Collectorates on production of Bank Receipt of Rs. 100/-deposited under head 0070/0AS/02/Election-101 Sale of Electoral Roll issued by the State Bank of Sikkim.
